Human resources are important assets for organizations to achieve goals. Managing human resources through human resource management (HRM) practices has become a strategic issue. This study analyzes the relationship between HRM practices and employee organizational commitment. Literature review is used to examine HRM practices such as recruitment, selection, training, development, performance appraisal, employee rewards, and employee welfare policies. Effective HRM practices enhance employees' abilities, motivation, and opportunities to contribute, which have a positive impact on productivity and employee satisfaction. The mechanism of this relationship involves social exchange theory, social identity, and expectations. Contextual factors such as organizational culture, leadership style, and individual employee characteristics also influence this relationship. The study results suggest that effective HRM practices can increase organizational commitment, which in turn supports the achievement of organizational goals.
