Abstract

International trade or concretely export-import is the realization of trade that crosses national boundaries, where imported commodities from abroad and export commodities from abroad are transported by ocean ships and red-and-white flag ships, on their long journey through the sea area in the territory of the Sovereignty. various other countries, then of course the import-export commodities must be perfectly protected with various documents as stipulated in the International Uniform Custom. For many countries, both developed countries (DC) and developing countries (UDC) and underdeveloped countries, the flow of export-import goods is highly coveted because it supports and determines the level of economic stability in the country and the pace of development in the country. This level of smooth flow of export-import goods certainly cannot be separated from the role of various companies, agencies, associations or institutions related to the process and realization of International Trade transactions (exports and imports), namely the Directorate of Customs and Excise, Shipping Companies, Harbormasters, Port Administrators, APBMI, Organda, TKBMI, Pertamina, PDAM, Foreign Exchange Bank, Plant Quarantine, Animal Quarantine and others. Also various applicable laws such as Indonesian Government Regulations, Presidential Regulations of the Republic of Indonesia, Decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Indonesia, Decree of the Minister of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia, Decree of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia, as well as various Decrees and Circulars from the related Director General will greatly determine the "smooth" loading and unloading of the flow of export-import (trade) goods. international). Students are sent to conduct observations and direct learning in the field by visiting all agencies, companies, associations, institutions related to the realization of export-import transactions, interviewing officials, managers, administrative officers and technical officers by asking 10-20 critical, sharp questions. and strategic (debriefing from the Lecturer) and whose answers will be directly consumed by students in order to understand and master the material needed when the student is involved directly/indirectly in the realization of International Trade. In addition, students were sent to the dock by the ship to the Line I warehouse, to the Field warehouse, to the container warehouse, to the Kalimas dock, and others to pay attention, listen, and understand technical work related to export and import in the field.
