Abstract

Organizational commitment is a variable of organizational behavior that has a contribution to the development of individual and organizational performance. To achieve higher employee commitment towards better individual and organizational performance, it is necessary to observe the variables that influence it. This study aims to determine the effect of organizational culture and quality of work life on organizational commitment. This quantitative study involved 105 respondents from a multinational company in Sidoarjo City. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression which was processed with the SPSS program. The results of the study indicate that organizational culture has a significant effect on organizational commitment. Quality of work life has a significant effect on organizational commitment. The two independent variables simultaneously have a significant effect on organizational commitment. The variable quality of work life is the independent variable which has a dominant influence on the dependent variable.
