Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of recognition programs and leadership style on employee loyalty among manufacturing company employees in Surabaya. A quantitative approach with an explanatory survey design was employed. The sample consisted of 126 employees, selected using total sampling from the entire population of manufacturing company employees in Surabaya. Data were collected through a five-point Likert scale questionnaire adapted from Robbins and Judge (2019), Bass and Riggio (2006), and Allen and Meyer (1990). Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 27. The findings reveal that recognition programs have a positive and significant effect on employee loyalty, leadership style has a positive and significant effect on employee loyalty, and both independent variables simultaneously exert a significant influence on employee loyalty. The study confirms that recognition programs are the most dominant factor in enhancing employee loyalty within manufacturing companies in Surabaya.
