Abstract

Supply chain management is a fundamental strategy for companies to build business strength and competitive advantage. Effective integration among suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors enables cost efficiency while ensuring responsiveness to market changes. An adaptive and resilient supply chain provides the ability to recover from disruptions and adapt to a dynamic environment. The Supply Chain Operations Reference Model provides a systematic framework for measuring and continuously improving supply chain performance. Long-term partnerships with key suppliers are more beneficial than short-term transactional relationships. Integrated information systems reduce uncertainty and variability through real-time data sharing. Reliable logistics enhance customer satisfaction through fast and accurate delivery. Business continuity planning protects operations from unexpected external disruptions. Trust-based collaboration among supply chain members creates a competitive advantage that is difficult to replicate.
