Studi Tentang Hubungan Pengawasan Kerja, Penilaian Kinerja dan Pengembangan Karir

Many organizations have strategic plans for career development programs because careers are an essential element for the lives of employees and the sustainability of organizational life. For this reason, the identification and exploration of the intensity of career development is the main focus of this study by involving work supervision and performance appraisal. The two independent variables are thought to contribute to career development. The research target was carried out at PT Intidragon Suryatama Mojokerto by involving 100 non-permanent employees in the production department as a sample. This research uses a simple random sampling technique. Primary data for this study was generated using a structured questionnaire. The strength and direction of the relationship between work supervision, performance appraisal and career development is tested with a statistical tool called the Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient. All stages starting validity, reliability and correlation coefficient were tested with SPSS. The results of this study conclude that there is a relationship between work supervision and performance appraisal with career development where the results for work supervision have a weak correlation and for performance appraisal it is quite strong.
