Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of transformational leadership, team collaboration, and career development on lecturer job satisfaction. This research method uses a quantitative approach with data collection techniques through questionnaires distributed to lecturers at several tertiary institutions in the city of Surabaya. The research sample consisted of 180 lecturer respondents who were randomly selected. The collected data were analyzed using multiple linear regression techniques. The results of the analysis show that transformational leadership has a significant impact on lecturer job satisfaction. Transformational leadership which involves developing inspirational vision, motivation, and maintaining good relationships with subordinates, has a positive influence on lecturer job satisfaction. In addition, team collaboration also has a significant influence on lecturer job satisfaction. Lecturers who actively collaborate with colleagues and participate in team activities feel more satisfied with their work. Career development is also proven to have a significant impact on lecturer job satisfaction. Lecturers who get the opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge, as well as have a clear career path, tend to be more satisfied with their jobs.
