Abstract

The study aims to investigate the relationship between job competency and work communication with employee work effectiveness at PT MIK. The research sample consists of 219 employees selected through purposive sampling method. Data was collected through a questionnaire containing items related to job competency, work communication, and level of work effectiveness. The results of the analysis using multiple linear regression method indicate that job competency has a significant influence on employee work effectiveness. Employees with strong job competency, including deep understanding of their job, technical skills, and relevant knowledge, tend to achieve higher work effectiveness. Additionally, the research findings highlight the importance of effective work communication in shaping optimal work effectiveness. Employees who can communicate effectively with team members, superiors, and subordinates have the ability to understand instructions, share information clearly, and work collaboratively. This contributes to improved team performance and the attainment of desired work outcomes.
